A. No, we do not sell static IP addresses. However, by using dynamic DNS
service and your own domain name you can achieve a static presence on
the Internet even though your IP may change from time to time.

Q. Why would I need to use dynamic DNS?
A. If you connect to the internet via DSL, cable modem, or any other
method whereby your IP address might change periodically, and you wish
to run some type of internet service (ftp, chat, or webserver) via that
connection, then you will need dynamic DNS.

Q. What service levels include support for dynamic DNS updates?
A. Both DNS and DNS-Plus service support dynamic DNS updates.

Q. Do I need any special software for dynamic DNS?
A. Yes, you will need to download and install a dynamic DNS client that
is compatible with your computer.

Q. How do I enable dynamic DNS updates for my domain name?
A. You need to be using either DNS, or DNS-Plus service, then login to
your account and click on the "e" in the domain settings module and make
sure the "Dynamic DNS option enabled for my domains" is set to "on".
