Please note that if your
easyDNS domains already come bundled with DNS or DNS-Plus
service you do not need to purchase
a subscription block. Blocks are only intended for use
with domains that do not use easyDNS/OpenSRS as the registrar.
Advantages of Subscription Service
 |
Lower Fees
Subscription rates save you money, anywhere from 25 - 50% of the regular per
domain fee. See the pricing charts listed below for details. |
 |
One Bill for Service
Instead of separate service charges and invoices for each domain you setup on
easyDNS™,
you get one annual bill for your subscription block. |
 |
Manage Your Growth
Add domains to your subscription block as you need to and when you outgrow you
current subscription block you have options. You can purchase an additional block
for use in your account, or you can upgrade to a larger subscription block and
just pay the annual pro-rated difference in price. |
How To Buy a Subscription Block
After you signup as an easyDNS™ member, login to your member page and click
on "add
domain" on the left and you will see an option to:
"purchase a block subscription for multiple
domains"
Click the radio button beside that option and click the next button. You will
then be able to choose your block (type of service and size of block). Once you
are done, and invoice will be generated and will appear on your member's page
invoice list.
Once you have paid your invoice for the subscription block you will be able to
add domains to the block by choosing the "add domain" option again,
and entering the name of the domain you would like to add to the block.
If you are transferring an existing domain to the block, then the confirmation
page will show an option to (if your block is not full):
"add to block"
along with the other service level options. To add the domain to your block,
just select the "add to block" option and continue.
If you are adding a new domain to the block, it is the same process outlined
above, except a separate invoice will be issued for the registry fees to cover
the domain. The domain will be added to your block immediately, but will not
actually be registered until the registry fees are paid.
Please note that, unless renewed, subscription
blocks expire on the one year anniversary of the purchase date, regardless of
the actual usage during the service
year.
Also, please note that subscription blocks do
NOT include the registry
fees which
are
always billed separately. |
