People who have actually used our services have chosen (and we thank them!) to post their comments on the the following websites devoted to helping consumers in making their purchase decisions. Check them out and see what people have to say about easyDNS.
The following comments and emails are posted with the full consent of the authors/members. kind words from John Senchak Owner of antihotmail.com I can say that your DNS service just keeps getting better. I have been monitoring my domain name for the last 2 months and siteguardian.com has reported that I am getting 100 percent uptime!. InternetSeer also has reported the same results. When I move my website to Afhosting.com I will have one killer site that will be up and running 24/7 which is the most important thing to me. I would recommend Easydns.com to anyone who is was looking for a outstanding DNS service and who wants reduntant uptime with domain settings that are easy to use. What can I say , I am convinced that Easydns.com is the best DNS service on the internet. I don't think there is one other DNS service on the net that CAN offers so much for a such reasonable price. I have done the research and there is not one other service out there that can match yours. (Not even ultradns.com ! ) May the force be with you ! eh! John senchak (internet grasshopper) one of our users with a good sense of humour... Sir: You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. You made the creation of two new URLs effortless and then, in a jiffy I have them both pointed to my other site. This is not fair to Network Solutions. This is unfair competition as you have taken a task, which in the hands of Network Solutions, appears impossible and made it work just like it should--easy, fast and clear Thank you. Larry Hamilton
Jim Carroll "I've been using easyDNS for over a dozen of my domains since they launched. The service is extremely reliable; the customer service impeccable; the interface easy enough for anyone to manage their Internet domains and e-mail. It's come to the point that I've assigned almost every single domain that I own to easyDNS. Given that my Web sites and my e-mail are absolutely vital to my business and my success, the fact that I am willing to completely rely upon easyDNS in this way, is a testimonial to the professionalism of their service. I'd recommend them without hesitation to anyone." An easyDNS member recently posted this message to a tech mailing list in response to a question about DNS service. I use it for ALL of my domains. Since most internet companies are too stuck up to give authoritative control over IP address for forward lookup; and root access to a fully qualified DNS server is very hard to come by unless you happen to work for an ISP. the best alternative to give your domain name forward resolution to your IP address is 'Easy Dns services'. If you have your own server, and a staticIP address, then register your domain at www.easydns.com, and choose the 'DNS-Only' service. This gives you access to a very nicely written (authored in PHP3!!!) web based GUI which gives you full access to your domain, including the ability to do MX records, Infinite number of Aliasing, and even ROUND Robin addressing for those of you who have multiple servers for load balancing. IT is MOST EXCELLENT. DNS only service (providing you already own the domain) is only 24.95$ per year. Not bad at all. And their support service gets back to you within 20min of an email or telephone call 24hrs/7days per week! kudos due. Ben The following was not a paid advertisement, honest... To: support@easydns.com Subject: UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE How do you guys do it? Your service is unbelievably responsive and web interfaces intuitive beyond belief. I discovered easyDNS during a web search of resources for replacement of my DNS provider. My search produced THE most valuable information of any web search I've initiated within the last two years. As a Network Engineering professional, I find your service to be thoughtfully designed, efficient for purposes of service modification, and I am thrilled to have the level of control that you offer for hosting of my DNS. Its as if I were hosting the service on my own machines. I'm not suggesting a rate increase, but I'm somewhat sure I'd subscribe to easyDNS service at twice the current rates. Great Job! An existing customer had this to say in an online forum ... I strongly recommend using a separate company to host your DNS. Sure, the company that hosts your website will throw in DNS hosting for free, but if they are negligent or incompetent or unfortunate, you're the one who will suffer. My web-server is hosted by one ISP but I use easyDNS to manage my domain. There are many similar services out there too. The bottom line is that you should have your website hosted by professionals who specialize in managing webservers, but your DNS should be hosted by professionals who specialize in managing DNS servers. The two are very different, and far too many admins take DNS management lightly. (excerpted from the discussion forum on SlashDot relating to a large hosting company whose nameservers were down for over a week.) And a returning customer says it best... From: Peter To: "easyDNS Support"Because domain registration is only the beginning. If you've ever tried to do things like:
At You can administer your settings immediately upon signup, by routing email for your domain somewhere, directing URL requests to a web page, or even just leaving our default "under construction" page for your domain in place. As soon as your domain is activated by the registry, you're ready to go. No upselling, no gimmicks, simply add your domain and then start using it. Our customer support is second to none. Our customers are impressed by our support. In addition to our online tutorials, our email support is extremely fast. Persons calling our toll-free support line are astonished to connect with a real live human. Our support staff take proactive measures to make sure your domain is operating properly. If our system detects a problem, we'll contact you and give you a heads up. With nameservers, redundancy is a good thing. Many ISP's and even a few domain registration companies have all their eggs in one basket, meaning all their nameservers are located on the same network backbone. If the gateway to that backbone ever goes down for any amount of time, DNS for any domains on the unreachable nameservers becomes unavailable. This means even if your website is up, people will not be able to get to it because the nameservers that describe where it is are unreachable.
That's why it is always recommended to have at least one nameserver on a
different network backbone than the primary nameserver. At Our nameserver cluster is currently deployed as follows...
